Dec. 07,'06 Pearl Harbor Day presentation:
A Tribute to our Service Men and Women. Bob Packett will help us mark "THE DAY THAT WILL LIVE IN INFAMY " with a presentation on the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, which will include DVD photos and analogs.
Jan. 04, '07 County presiding Commissoner Betty Knight reported on the "Sate of Platte County".
Feb.,'07 We are celebrating " Lincoln Days" with a unity message from Eric Zhand, County Prosecutor.
March,'07 Representative Ryan Silvey will present " reform legislation" for Missouri Licensing Bureaus.
April,'07 AMERICA’S DEPENDENCy ON OIL: Mr. Mark Stansberry, president of Energy Associates, will address "America’s Energy Dreams and Economic Realities". On April 5th, Mr. Stansberry is a presenter of nation stature and has much information concerning non-fossil fuel alternatives
May,'07 Club's Memorial Day program.
 Retiring KC Councilwoman Bonnie Sue Cooper Reminisces and Reflects.

Platte County Pachyderms will hear from retiring KC Councilwoman Bonnie Sue Cooper at their First Thursday meeting on May 3rd.   Members and guests will hear Cooper's thoughts on possible changes in KC government with the election of a new mayor and council and be treated to her reflections on her 26 years as a public servant.  
June, '07 Topic is about latest property tax: "Property Re-Assessment: Why Did It Happen and What Does it Really Mean for You". Specific issues will be given elected officals-Lisa Pope, Platte County Assessor, Dr Paul Kelly, As't. Sup., Park Hill School District, Mike Maasen, Platte County Board of Equalization.
