President Ronald Reagan, "Government
is the people's business and every man, woman and child becomes a shareholder with the first penny of tax paid."
Club
Mission Statement
Preamble
It is
our belief that most of the corrupting influences in American
politics could be erased and government generally made more
responsive by one basic improvement. That is, simply for more
good citizens to participate in politics. "We get the
government we deserve, not the one we wish for," remains a
guide-star for a free people. We offer a meaningful movement of
political clubs as the most practical means by which a broad
citizen participation in politics may be achieved .
Purpose
To provide a practical means for broad citizen participation
in politics.
To promote practical political education and the
dissemination of information on our political system.
To promote the development of potential political leaders.
To assist in carrying out the purposes of the Republican
Party, whose purpose we believe includes
- To provide leadership in government.
- To protect individual rights and freedom.
- To promote clean government with local emphasis.
- To keep the public informed on the status of their
government.

We
believe in national Republican Principles:
1. Individual ability, dignity, freedom and responsibility
are basic to good government;
2. The free enterprise system and encouragement of individual
initiative
are musts for a strong economy;
3. Government exists to protect the freedom of each
individual, not restrict it;
4. Government should get involved only in those things which
people cannot do for themselves;
5. Both government
and society should assist those who cannot provide for
themselves and should help them become self-supporting citizens with pride in their
independence;
6, Equal rights, equal justice and equal opportunity
belong to all, regardless of race, creed, color,
national origin
or gender;
7. The preservation of our nation and security of our citizens
depend on every citizen's respect for the Constitution,
the laws and the courts;
8. Government must maintain sound money and reasonable
economy. The rights of life and liberty are
meaningless if citizens are deprived of their property through
excessive taxation, inflation and government waste; and
9. World peace and friendship
will continue through strength. *
